Student Services for Truck Driving Students
Our student services team goes the extra mile to help you become a truck driver.
We know your overall goal of wanting to become a truck driver is a job in transportation. But do you know how to get a CDL license on your own? The right training can be the difference between just a job, and an exciting career. We make a solid commitment to help our students get trained and ready with our focused programs.
Tri-State works with external employment agencies including several recruiters from national, regional and local carriers who are looking to help you begin a trucking career immediately after graduation. When you enter our programs to become a truck driver, we make every effort to ensure that you are placed with high-quality carriers. Our partners help up make sure our graduates will continue to receive relevant opportunities throughout their trucking careers.
Several recruiters from local carriers give visits to talk about your trucking career on a regular basis and discuss upcoming employment opportunities. Students are given advance notice of these visits, and a schedule is available in the student placement services office.
